- Fred grew up in Columbia and attended Cardinal Newman High School. After graduating from the College of Charleston, he began working with Ashley Studio as a wedding videographer and video editor. He formed his own business, Fred McGrew Video Productions in 2000, conveniently located in Columbia’s downtown Shandon neighborhood. When he is not filming weddings, Fred can be found rock climbing, white water kayaking and running. He is also a certified instructor in yoga and Pilates. Fred likes to keep his footprint as green as possible and prefers to get around Columbia on his bicycle.
